- Jumping: John Whitaker with Ryan’s son finished fifth in history’s first World Cup Final in Jumping in spring 1979. John Whitaker was only 23 years old then.
- Dressage: In 1998, Louis Nathhorst with Walk on Top became the first Swedish to win the World Cup Final in dressage. Louis & Walk on Top have together won EM & the World Cup Bronze Teams for Sweden. The Seven-time Swedish Champion, Louis Nathhorst, is a successful coach today.
- Profiles: Two key people who made an intriguing contribution in the creation & later development of Gothenburg Horse Show were Liz & Lasse Parmler. Lasse was the first competition leader at GHS, a participant in the international classes & speaker for SVT’s guarding of the competitions.
